About this task

The Mark Ready action is required for first-time electronic bond submissions after a bond is signed. Marking the bond ready indicates it is complete and ready for regulator delivery.

Note: Bonds for existing licenses are delivered to the regulator immediately after being marked ready. For new license applications, bonds are delivered once the application is submitted.

Procedure

Navigate to the NMLS Login page (State Context).
Log in to your NMLS account.
From the Dashboard on the Home tab, scroll to Surety Bonds and Riders.
Access the Manage Surety Bond or Rider page from the Bonds Pending Action list.
Access the Manage Surety Bond or Rider page from the Bonds Pending Action list.
Review the bond details for accuracy.
Check the box in the attestation language.
Click Mark Ready to complete the process.

Note: Bonds already delivered no longer appear in the Bonds Pending Action list.
