Providing Approvals and Designations
Identify and document all approvals and designations held by the company in the MU1 filing, including any required explanations or related business disclosures.

Procedure
- Navigate to the NMLS Login page.

Select
from the menu.The Company Filing screen is displayed.

Click Create New Filing.
The Company Form (MU1) opens, beginning on the Business Activities screen.
- Open the Approvals and Designations section.

Select all applicable approvals and designations from the list.
Note: If selecting Other Approval/Designation, enter a brief description in the provided field.

Answer the business relationship questions:
- If applicable, provide FinCEN registration information for money transmitter license types.

Click Save.
Note: Companies that are Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac Seller/Servicers or Ginnie Mae Issuers may be required to complete the Expanded MCR.
