Viewing Institution Renewal Status in Composite View

Use Composite View in NMLS to confirm your institution’s MU1R renewal or reactivation status and view historical information.

About this task

Institutions can use Composite View in NMLS to review their MU1R registration status, confirm renewal or reactivation, and view historical filings. This allows administrators to verify that renewal has been processed and to monitor prior years’ activity.

Procedure

  1. Navigate to the NMLS Login page (Federal Context).
  2. Log in to your NMLS account.
    Note: If you are landed on the NMLS Connect screen, select NMLS Federal Registry in the Quick Links section.

  3. Select the Federal context, if the Context screen is displayed.
    Note: Be sure you are in the Federal context by selecting Federal from the You are currently drop down list. Your screen should display the Federal Registry watermark.

  4. Click the Composite View tab.
  5. Click View Institution in the submenu.
  6. Click View Registration Status in the left navigation panel.
    Note: The View MU1R Status screen displays the institution’s current registration and renewal status.
  7. To view registration and renewal history, click the regulator link.
    Note: The View MU1R Status History screen opens, displaying historical filings and renewal records.

Results

The institution’s MU1R renewal/reactivation status and history are displayed in Composite View, allowing confirmation that renewal has been completed.
