Using the Company Dashboard to Determine Application Status
Learn how to use the Company Dashboard in NMLS to track your company’s license application status and outstanding filing items.
About this task
The Company Dashboard provides a consolidated view of your company’s license records and application progress in NMLS. You can use it to track pending filings, outstanding license items, and real-time license statuses. Data in this dashboard is refreshed every two hours.
The dashboard is especially useful after submitting a Company (MU1) filing, as it highlights items that require attention to move the application forward.
Procedure
- Navigate to the NMLS Login page (State Context).
- Log in to your NMLS account.
- The Company Dashboard is displayed in the Home tab. In the Licenses section, locate your company’s approved or pending license applications.
- Check for any Active License Items associated with the application. These may include conditions or documentation requested by regulators.
- Scroll to the Pending Filings section to confirm whether the Company (MU1) filing is awaiting attestation or submission.
- Follow up on any filings marked Attestation Requested or Submission Required to complete the process.
- Optional: Use the Updated in Last 7 Days view in the Active License Items section to prioritize recent updates.
