Viewing Pending Employment Confirmations

Use the Employment Management section in NMLS to view and filter pending employment records that require confirmation by your institution.

About this task

The Manage Employment Records Pending Confirmation list shows all employment records requiring action by your institution. You can confirm a single record, confirm multiple records, or take other actions such as editing the start date or requesting corrections.

Filtering options include NMLS ID, Last Name, Group Name, Work Location, and Submitted From/To Date.

Procedure

  1. Navigate to the NMLS Login page (Federal Context).
  2. Log in to your NMLS account.
    Note: If you are landed on the NMLS Connect screen, select NMLS Federal Registry in the Quick Links section.

  3. Select the Federal context, if the Context screen is displayed.
    Note: Be sure you are in the Federal context by selecting Federal from the You are currently drop down list. Your screen should display the Federal Registry watermark.

  4. From the NMLS Home screen, select the Tasks tab.
  5. Select Employment Management from the sub-menu.
  6. Click Manage Employment Records Pending Confirmation on the navigation panel.

  7. Enter filter criteria if needed and click Filter to refine the list.
