Accessing and Responding to Information Requests and System Tasks in NMLS Connect
Learn how to respond to system tasks generated by NMLS or information requests issued by state regulators during the review of your MU4 application.
About this task
After submitting your MU4 filing, NMLS may generate system tasks or regulators may create information requests, which require action on your part in order to proceed with your license application.
You can view system tasks and information requests in NMLS Connect and respond accordingly.
Procedure
- Navigate to the NMLS Login page (State Context).
- Log in to your NMLS account.
- View your open information requests and system tasks under My Tasks.
- Select an item to view details.
- Review the instructions and determine the required action.
- Complete the task as instructed.
- For information requests only, return to the information request and click Add Response to inform the regulator that you have completed the required action.
