An Advance Change Notice (ACN) is required in many jurisdictions before making certain amendments to a Company (MU1) Form in NMLS. ACNs notify regulators of significant upcoming changes, such as alterations to control persons, executive officers, ownership structure, or other key business details. Submitting an ACN ensures regulators have adequate time to review and approve the proposed change prior to its effective date.
