Attesting to a Branch New Application Filing

Complete the final step of the MU3 application process by legally attesting to the filing information and submitting it to state regulators through NMLS.

About this task

The Attest and Submit option is the final step when filing a Branch (MU3) Form for a new license application. This action is only available after the filing passes all completeness checks, including all associated Individual (MU2) Form attestations. The attestation must display the name of a natural person after the word “I” and the applicant or licensee’s name after the word “of.” Selecting this option constitutes a legal attestation to all states in which the branch is applying for or maintaining a license through NMLS. For authoritative requirements, see the NMLS Policy Guide.
