Log In Settings Incorrect?
NMLS sets browser cookies to remember your login context (state or federal). If you choose the incorrect option when logging in and land on the state log in page instead of the federal log in page (or vice versa) you can manually delete your web browser cookies to reset your log in settings options.

  When searching for a fingerprinting location, the results returned by the search use the address you provide and display either (1) Live Scan locations only or (2) Live Scan and Paper Card locations. As illustrated below, fingerprint capture via Live Scan costs less, can be scheduled more quickly, requires less action by the MLO, and results in fewer illegible prints than the Paper Card method.

Procedure

Delete Cookies in Edge

Press Ctrl + H to open the History list.
Select Delete browsing data (Trash Can icon).
The Delete browsing data dialog box is displayed.
Check the Cookies and other site data option.
Select Clear now.

Delete Cookies in Firefox

Select Settings from the menu on the right.
The Settings window is displayed.
Select Privacy & Security.
Under Cookies and Site Data, select the Clear Data button.
The Clear browsing data and cookies dialog box is displayed.
From the When dropdown list, select Everything.
Select the Cookies and site data option.
Select Clear.

Delete Cookies in Chrome

Press Ctrl + H to open the History list.
The History window opens in a new tab.
Select Delete browsing data.
The Delete browsing data dialog box is displayed in a new tab.
From the Time range dropdown, choose All time.
Select the Cookies and site data option.
Select Delete data.
