Enrolling in NMLS-Approved CE Courses

Mortgage Loan Originators (MLOs) must complete NMLS-approved Continuing Education (CE) annually to remain eligible for license renewal.

About this task

MLOs must complete Continuing Education (CE) annually through an NMLS-approved course provider. Course completion is reported directly by the provider to NMLS, typically within 7 calendar days. Some CE courses may require the use of a BioSig-ID® to verify your identity before credit is issued. (See BioSig-ID Help for more information.)

  4. Allow up to 7 calendar days for your CE course completion to be posted to your NMLS record.
Tip: If your CE completion has not posted within 7 days, contact your course provider directly.
