Amending Residential History in NMLS

Provides instructions for updating residential history in an MU4 amendment filing.

About this task

Your residential history must be accurate and reflect continuous address history for at least the last 10 years. If you have moved to a new address, an MU4 amendment filing is required.

Procedure

Navigate to the NMLS Login page (State Context).
Log in to your NMLS account.
Select Update Record in the Quick Links section.
The MU4 Form is opened.
Select the Individual Information link on the left navigation panel.
Edit, add, or remove address entries as needed.

Note: Ensure there are no gaps in history.
Select Save.
