About this task

As part of the annual license renewal process, you must ensure that your Criminal Background Check (CBC) is up to date and has been processed. NMLS allows you to view the current status of your CBC and confirm that it has been successfully completed. If the CBC is not complete, your renewal may be delayed or denied.

Procedure

Navigate to the NMLS Login page (State Context).
Log in to your NMLS account.
Click the Composite View tab.

Note: If you are a state-licensed individual (not an MU2 individual for a state-licensed company), click View Complete Record Information in the Quick Links section of NMLS Connect.
Select View Individual.
In the left navigation panel, click Criminal Background Check Requests.
