Money Services Businesses (MSB) Call Report
The Money Services Businesses (MSB) Call Report was developed with the goal of enhancing and standardizing the information available to state regulators concerning the activities of their Money Services Businesses licensees (money transmitters, check cashers, prepaid, etc.). Licensees will be able to complete the report directly in NMLS.
CSV and XML Specifications
The MSB Call Report can be uploaded as a comma-separated values (CSV) or eXtensible Markup Language (XML) file.

NMLS provides industry users with the ability to submit an MSB Call Report filing either through manual data entry within NMLS, through a CSV template, or through an upload of a properly formatted XML file to NMLS.

NMLS provides industry users with the ability to submit an MSB Call Report filing either through manual data entry within NMLS, through a CSV template, or through an upload of a properly formatted XML file to NMLS.

The CSV upload feature provides a streamlined option for creating an MSB Call Report filing. The upload feature may be used to create an initial MSB Call Report filing, change information on a pending filing, or amend information on a previously submitted MSB Call Report filing.
