Surety Bond Producer Dashboard

The Surety Bond Producer Dashboard summarizes Electronic Surety Bond (ESB) activity for all bonds where the producer is identified as the active producer. Each section displays live bond counts and links to detailed bond records in NMLS.

The Surety Bond Producer Dashboard appears under the Home tab and provides a consolidated overview of ESB-related activity across all bonds where the producer is listed as the active producer. Each section lists summary counts and allows users to drill down to bond details by selecting the linked count. The dashboard refreshes automatically as bond statuses update in NMLS.

Dashboard layout and sections

The dashboard is organized into the following main sections:

• Active Bonds (Across Surety Bond Producer) — Displays counts of active bonds associated with the producer’s organization.
  • All Bonds: Total number of active bonds. Selecting the count opens the Manage Bonds page filtered by active status.
  • Notice of Cancellation Bonds: Displays the number of bonds currently in “Notice of Cancellation” status. Links open the same Manage Bonds page filtered by that status.
• Current Action Items (Across Surety Bond Producer) — Highlights bonds that require immediate attention across the producer organization.
  • Requires Representative Signature: Bonds in “Requires Rep Signature” status awaiting signature by a designated representative.
  • Returned Bonds: Bonds in “Returned to Surety” status requiring review or correction before resubmission.
  Note: Selecting any count opens the Manage Bonds page filtered by the selected status.
• Revisions Pending Action (Across Surety Bond Producer) — Displays riders or revised form bonds that require producer action.
  • Requires Representative Signature: Riders or revised form bonds that are awaiting representative signature.
  • Returned Revisions: Riders or revised bonds returned to the producer for correction.
• Bonds Requiring Form Updates (Across Surety Bond Producer) — Lists bonds that require form upgrades or issuance of a revised form bond.
  • Upgraded Bond Required: Bonds in “Requires Rep Signature” or “Returned to Surety” status that must be upgraded to a new form version.
  • Revised Form Bond Required: Bonds requiring producer action for issuance of a revised form bond that does not yet exist in Pending Principal Signature or Executed status.
  Note: This section displays only if at least one of the listed bond counts is greater than zero.
• Current Action Items (For Creator User) — Highlights bonds created by the logged-in user that require attention.
  • Requires Representative Signature: Bonds created by the user that are awaiting representative signature.
  • Returned Bonds: Bonds created by the user that have been returned to the producer for correction.
• Revisions Pending Action (For Creator User) — Displays riders or revised form bonds created by the logged-in user that require attention.
  • Requires Representative Signature: Riders or revised form bonds created by the user that require representative signature.
  • Returned Bonds: Riders or revised form bonds created by the user that have been returned to the producer for review.
• Bonds Requiring Form Updates (For Creator User) — Lists bonds created by the user that require upgrade or revised form bond issuance.
  • Upgraded Bond Required: Bonds requiring form upgrade due to new version requirements.
  • Revised Form Bond Required: Bonds that need issuance of a revised form bond and are not already pending signature or executed in undelivered status.

How to use the Dashboard

• Use linked bond counts to navigate directly to filtered bond lists in NMLS.
• Check the “Pending Action” and “Revisions Pending Action” areas regularly to address signatures, returns, and required corrections.
• Monitor “Bonds Requiring Form Updates” to ensure timely completion of revised or upgraded form requirements.
• For collaborative producers, ensure each user monitors both organization-wide and personal action items.

Each linked count on the dashboard opens a specific NMLS page depending on the bond type or action required:

• Manage Bonds — Displays detailed bond listings filtered by the selected dashboard category (Active, Returned, Requires Signature, etc.).
