NMLS Account Creation for Surety Bond Producers
Establishing an NMLS account for a surety bond producer involves completing and submitting the online Surety Bond Producer Account Request Form, including contact information, administrator assignments, and required documentation.
About this task
Surety bond producer accounts in NMLS are created through submission of the Surety Bond Producer Account Request Form, which is reviewed and validated by the NMLS Operations team. The form collects identifying company information, contact details, account administrators, and documentation to confirm the entity’s authority to conduct surety business.
The person completing the request must have legal authority to act on behalf of the company and must attest that all information provided is accurate. If unsure who should complete the form, coordinate internally with your company’s leadership or legal counsel.
