Surety Entity Notifications and Subscriptions
Lists automated NMLS notifications and email alerts distributed to Surety Companies, Surety Bond Producers, Principals, and designated individuals when electronic surety bond (ESB) events occur.
Notifications in NMLS alert surety entities and related participants when key electronic surety bond (ESB) actions occur, such as signatures, cancellations, returns, or form revisions. These messages are automatically generated by the system and are sent to the designated user roles or subscribed contacts associated with the surety entity.
Note: Notifications are sent to subscribed users according to their assigned roles. If no other user is subscribed, messages default to Account Administrator (AA) users.

Managing Notification Subscriptions
Users with administrative roles in a Surety Company or Surety Bond Producer account can manage which users receive automated notifications. Subscription options are available within the Organization Profile area of NMLS under Manage Subscriptions.
Each notification type can be enabled or disabled per user, allowing customization for underwriters, compliance staff, or executive contacts.
Note: Ensure that at least one active user remains subscribed to each notification type to avoid missed regulatory or workflow alerts.
