Other Business

Are you currently engaged in any other business as a proprietor, partner, officer, director, employee, trustee, agent or otherwise?

If the individual indicated that they are engaged in Other Business Activities on the Identifying Information screen, they are required to provide information about that business.

The name of the business, whether or not it is financial services related along with the business address is required. The nature of the business, position, title or relationship with business along with the start date, hours per month and description of duties are optional.

Consult state licensing requirements to verify what information is required to be submitted through NMLS.

Note: Non-financial services-related activity that is exclusively charitable, civic, religious, or fraternal and is recognized as tax exempt need not be listed as Other Business.
