IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR MONEY TRANSMISSION LICENSEES
Money Transmission licensees have the option to transition onto NMLS by submitting the Company (MU1) Form.

Electronic Surety Bonds (ESB)
Electronic surety bonds (ESB) for the license/registration types listed below will be available in NMLS starting September 12, 2016.
New company license applications submitted through NMLS for the following license types after September 12th, 2016 will have the option to meet all surety bond requirements by completing the electronic surety bond process. See the ESB Adoption Map and Table for more information.
-Money Transmission License
Companies holding any of these license/registration types have the option to convert their existing surety bond to NMLS via the submission of an ESB. See the TX-DOB ESB Conversion Plan for more information.
Note: If the licensee/registrant wishes to continue to manage its surety bond outside of NMLS, no further action is required.
