The NMLS Mortgage Industry Report for the fourth quarter of 2018 is now available. Updates to the Money Services Businesses Fact Sheet and Debt Collection Fact Sheet have also been posted. For all reports, including updated Mortgage Call Report data, go to NMLS Reports.

2018 Annual Report “Transforming Supervision” Now Available

The 11th annual report on NMLS operations, performance and new development efforts has been released in conjunction with the kick-off of the NMLS Annual Conference & Training. 2019 NMLS Annual Conference & Training: Ombudsman Meeting Agenda

Ohio Division of Financial Institutions Adds New Licenses to NMLS Effective March 15, 2019

NMLS is now receiving new application and transition filings for Ohio Division of Financial Institutions Short-Term Lender License and Nonprofit Short-Term Lender License. New applicants and existing licensees are now able to submit these records through NMLS.

Note: Companies holding these license types are required to submit a license transition request through NMLS by filing a Company Form (MU1) and an Individual Form (MU2) for each of their control persons. Additionally, for each branch holding these license types, companies are encouraged to complete and submit a Branch Form (MU3). Click here for more information.

Missouri Division of Finance Adds Sale of Checks and Money Transmitter License to NMLS March 1, 2019

NMLS is now receiving new application and transition filings for the Missouri Division of Finance Sale of Checks and Money Transmitter License. New applicants and existing licensees are now able to submit these records through NMLS.

Note: Companies holding these license types are required to submit a license transition request through NMLS by filing a Company Form (MU1) and an Individual Form (MU2) for each of their control persons by April 30. Click here for more information.

Alabama Securities Commission Adds Money Transmitter License to NMLS February 1, 2019

NMLS is now receiving new application and transition filings for the Alabama Securities Commission Money Transmitter License. New applicants and existing licensees are now able to submit these records through NMLS.

Note: All current licensees/registrants have the option to transition their license onto NMLS on or before the current renewal deadline of March 15. If licensees/registrants choose not to transition by the renewal deadline of March 15, they will have the option to transition their license after renewal ends on March 31. Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation Adds Debt Settlement Consumer Protection and Debt Management Licenses to NMLS February 1, 2019

NMLS is now receiving new application and transition filings for the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation licenses listed below. New applicants and existing licensees will be able to submit these records through NMLS.

 

  • Debt Settlement Consumer Protection License
  • Debt Management License

Note: Companies holding these license types are required to submit a license transition request through NMLS by filing a Company Form (MU1) and an Individual Form (MU2) for each of their control persons no later than February 28. In addition, for each branch holding these license types, companies are encouraged to complete and submit a Branch Form (MU3).
