The state of Indiana has two agencies:
Indiana Department of Financial Institutions (DFI)
Indiana DFI supervises Lenders which includes the new First Lien Mortgage Lending License, Subordinate Lien Mortgage Lending License and the new Mortgage Loan Originator License.
Indiana Secretary of State (SOS)
Indiana SOS supervises Loan Brokers which includes all Loan Broker, Principal Manager and Loan Originator Licenses for Loan Brokers only.
